Carta abierta de numerosos poetas del mundo dirigida al Secretario General Ban Ki-moon de las Naciones Unidas, al presidente de la Comisión Europea José Manuel Barroso y al presidente de los Estados Unidos, Barack Obama.

Estimados Señores
Después de más de un siglo de ser víctimas de crímenes sistemáticos como genocidio, esclavitud, abusos sexuales, crímenes de guerra y discriminación, ser hazara todavía parece ser un crimen en Afganistán y Pakistán. Por ejemplo, recientemente, el sábado 16 de febrero de 2013, más de 300 hazara entre hombres mujeres y niños fueron heridos o asesinados por la explosión de una devastadora bomba en el Centro de Quetta en Pakistán. Esto a continuación de un ataque similar un mes antes, el 10 de enero de 2013 cuando mas de cien hazaras fueron asesinados por la explosión de otra bomba en la misma ciudad.
En los últimos años, más de mil hazaras han muerto, sólo en Pakistán, por ataques similares.
Hoy, en su tierra natal, Afganistán, están en peligro. Cada año, se enfrentan a los ataques de los kuchi afganos que están respaldados por los talibanes y el gobierno de ese país. Sus caminos son con frecuencia bloqueados por talibanes armados que interceptan los vehículos y matan a los pasajeros. En el centro de Afganistán la gran población de etnia Hazara es marginada y no tienen acceso a los derechos legales. Ellos siguen sufriendo una discriminación sistemática y ataques de los talibanes. El resultado es que millones de Hazara han huído a numerosos países como refugiados o solicitantes de asilo, con frecuencia en condiciones de vida terribles.
El pueblo Hazara constituía el 67% de la población de Afganistán antes del siglo XIX. Sin embargo, sufrieron el genocidio y la esclavitud dos veces en esos tiempos. Se vieron obligados violentamente a abandonar la mayor parte de sus tierras, que se encuentran en el sur del Afganistán moderno. Más del 60% de ellos fueron asesinados y miles han sido vendidos como esclavos.
Toda la historia del siglo XX en Afganistán ha estado marcada por la muerte y la discriminación contra esta comunidad. Los días 10 y 11 de febrero de 1993, en el área de Afshar en Kabul, el gobierno de Mujahedeen y sus aliados masacraron miles de Hazara entre hombres, mujeres y niños. El 11 de agosto de 1998, los talibanes mataron a más de 10 mil personas en la ciudad norteña de Mazar-i-Sharif. Masacres similares se extendieron rápidamente a otras partes de Afganistán. Destruir la historia Hazara y promover una falsa, ha sido estrategia adicional, además de los delitos violentos.
Por ejemplo, en marzo de 2001, los talibanes destruyeron las antiguas esculturas de Buda de Bamiyan, que son los símbolos principales de la historia Hazara y su cultura, y una de las obras maestras más populares del patrimonio oral e intangible de la humanidad. Tal es la historia de dos siglos de crímenes contra la etnia Hazara, y de los que sufren en la actualidad.
Por lo tanto, nosotros declaramos nuestra solidaridad con el pueblo Hazara y pedimos que los líderes mundiales puedan tomar las siguientes medidas para garantizar la seguridad de esta población y su cultura:
1) Declarar el estado de emergencia sobre las circunstancias que padecen los Hazara acogiéndonos a la Convención para la Prevención y la Sanción del Delito de Genocidio.
2) Ejercer presión sobre los gobiernos afgano y pakistaní para que cesen inmediatamente los actos de discriminación contra los Hazara y dejen de apoyar a grupos terroristas que cometen actos de violencia contra ellos.
3) Pedir a la Convención de Refugiados proteger a los Hazara solicitándoles asilo.
4) Establecer una comisión internacional para investigar la verdad de los crímenes contra esta población.
5) Abrir un caso integral en los tribunales como la Corte Penal Internacional.
6) Solicitar a los 150 mil soldados internacionales que se encuentran en Afganistán que se garantice la seguridad de los Hazara antes de que abandonen este país.
7) Pedir a los medios internacionales de comunicación investigar e informar sobre las actividades en contra de la etnia Hazara, especialmente en Afganistán y Pakistán.

Como poeta, como ser humano, como parte de esta humanidad, me uno al reclamo para que cese el genocidio y sean reconocidos todos los derechos a Hazara, que también es parte de nosotros. Compartimos su dolor y sufrimiento, y no podemos permanecer indiferentes, porque la indiferencia es complicidad.

hola buena noches a todos soy zia moradi hace 10 años que estoy en europa mi primer viaje estaba en belgica eni he pedio asilo en belgica ellos mi han denegado i mi dijeron que tu eres hazara ahora los hazaras pueden vivir en afghanistan i los militares de europea i los americanos proteje de los hazaras i tu tienes que ir en afghanistan todo el mundo sabe los talibanes i los kuchis i los pashtunes es inemigos de los hazaras i se matan los hazaras hata ahora estoy sin papel en europa no puedo pedir asilo i si pido asilo mi denega por culpa de belgica hace 6años que estoy en españa no tengo trabajo i no tengo papel i estoy enfermo por favor ki alguien mi ayudan
